A Cold Beverage Warms the Heart

beverage holdersBaseball games, the Fourth of July, late night bonfires, summer soirées, can you feel the essence of summer? The common theme in all of these events is the cold libations. However, there’s no summer killer like warm beer. While ice coolers are great to initially chill the beverage, there aren’t many options once the can has been cracked or the bottle has been opened. A cold beverage is such an essential aspect to any summer event and people rarely obtain these beverage cooling items on their own. Don’t you want to be responsible for keeping the summer festivities alive?

Summer is the perfect time to transition your promotional items to the beverage cooling category. Your clients and employees will appreciate that your company went that extra effort to provide the chill and keep the party going.

Not only will your company name be viewed by the recipient, but everyone who attends the summer event will know that you provided possibly the best contribution. The Handy Hugger koozie is perfect for keeping cans chilled. Using bottles? No problem! The Bottle Buddy is a long necked bottle insulator that is equipped with a zipper closure to accommodate standard 12oz bottles. For cooling larger bottles such as wine, the Flexi Bottle Chiller is the best option.

To make sure that all of your clients’ beverage cooling needs are met, order a combination of all three. All of these products can be branded with your company logo, contact information or message. What a perfect, season appropriate, way to promote your business!

Stay Positive!

October is Positivity Month.  Looking for some ways to stay on top and be more efficient?  Here are some ideas to manage energy and promote positivity:

The Power of a Good Night Sleep.  While days generally consist of long hours at work followed by trying to complete tasks afterwards, many people underestimate just how important sleep plays in the energy that we have.  According to the American Psychological Association, 40% of adults suffer from daytime sleepiness a few days a month, and another 20% suffer a few days a week as a result of their sleep habits.  This reduces energy, well-being, and ultimately causes daily activities to hinder as a result.  By aiming to average at least 8 hours of sleep a night, you will begin to feel better on a daily basis and operate at a higher level.

Develop Daily Plans.  Take time on a daily basis to map out what you need to accomplish.  By staying organized, you will begin to develop efficiency and identify tasks that are necessary for the utilization of your energy.  Think about the hours at work and home that are dedicated to tasks other than those that are necessary (surfing the web, telephone, social media, etc.).  Though we all want a little “me” time here and there, this leads to unproductive habits and drains our energy by not staying on task.  By keeping an organizer, schedule, or list, you can accomplish tasks quicker, save energy, and create more time for yourself to do things you want!

Create Time For You.  Half the battle with staying energetic and positive is that there seems to not be enough “me” time.  Whether work feels overwhelming or life becomes hectic, making sure that you set aside time for yourself is one of the most important aspects towards maintaining health and happiness.  On a weekly basis, find time in which you can perform something brings yourself happiness.  Whether it is catching a football game on television, going to the movies, meeting up with friends or family, and/or performing your favorite activity, find time for such.  By doing so, you will feel more relaxed, refreshed, and ready to take on tasks and goals ahead.

Go For It.  Don’t be afraid and have a “can do” attitude.  One major obstacle to obtaining positivity is the fear of failure.  Set goals that you see yourself being able to reach and go for them.  By holding back, you are only promoting negativity and the possibility of failure.  Whether win, lose, or draw; knowing that you gave it your all will allow you to gain satisfaction, bring about positive energy, and affirm your actions as being successful endeavors.

Surround Yourself With Positive Energy.  Whether it is being around good people, extending a helping hand, or becoming more involved (activities, organizations, etc.), surrounding yourself with positive energy will help promote health, wealth, and happiness.  Positivity and energy are transferable sources that when shared create mutual satisfaction and happiness.  Immersing yourself into actions that promote personal and communal positivity will lead to greater satisfaction and success within your daily lives.

Holiday Gifts for employees and for customers!

How can you show your appreciation for all the hard work your employees put forth all year? Or how much you appreciate your customers for being the integral part of you and your businesses success? Typically, many companies choose the holiday time at the end of the year to show their gratitude – either through holiday parties, company outings, employee gifts, or customer appreciation gifts.

But what is the ideal item or gesture? Often times business owners, especially small businesses struggle to find the balance between cost and quality. Budgets are tight, especially this year, and being able to express your gratitude without breaking the bank is a tightrope walk almost every business owner is familiar with.

The answer doesn’t have to be a compromise on either side though! With a little thought, many companies will find that they can offer a low-cost AND personal gift for everyone on their list! Personalized products offer the ability to show your customers and employees how much you care – adding that extra touch of class! Mugs, high-value pens, and calendars are the perfect way to give them a gift that will last – and remind them all year that you were thinking of them – so they think of you when it’s needed most! Filling a mug with candy or popcorn is a great way to dress up a simple gift. Putting a quality pen in a small stocking will add a bit of cheer! Calendars are always a great gift this time of year – just as last year’s calendars are running out!

No matter what you choose, it’s always the thought that counts – so make sure your gifts reflect just how much thought you put into your much-appreciated employees and customers. For more holiday ideas, click here.

Tips to Increase Online Holiday Sales

About a month ago, I wrote about online marketing tips for the holiday season, now that we are truly in the midst of the holidays, many businesses are getting desperate on how to maximize sales in this tough economy. Multichannel Merchant has a great article called “Three Steps to Increase Online Holiday Sales” which points out some very simple things you can do to help drive conversion after a visitor has landed on your website.

Automate Product Recommendations/Suggestions
For those companies who recommend products, many still organize and choose products manually. This can be an extremely tedious and time consuming task. By investing in automated product recommendations, you will be able to more suggest more relevant product recommendations in much less effort.

If your site does not currently provide product recommendations, I highly suggest you look into it. When people shop for others during the holidays, they may not always know exactly what to buy. By offering a suggestion or mentioning that others who looked at Product A also looked at Product B, you help the prospect choose a gift.

Use Internal Click Data to Market Products/Services
Do you have a search box on your website? If so, analyze that data. What are people searching for? By reviewing internal search data, you get an idea of what your prospects are interested in purchasing. Use this knowledge to specifically promote the products or services people are interested in. This way your prospects will be more likely to convert when they see a special for what they are looking for right when they land on your site.

Multiple-Channel Integration
Group your customers and prospects together by interests. You will be able to more easily cater specific products or services to the group of customers or prospects that are more likely to convert. After this, you can roll out your services to other forms of advertising such as direct mail, telemarketing, etc.

Online Marketing Tips for the Holiday Season

Time is ticking for holiday sales. What can you do?

The Wall Street Journal wrote a great article a few weeks ago on how to ramp up on holiday sales this year. These simple tactics may often be overlooked, but when implemented can help bring in extra traffic and sales.

Update Your Website
Make updates to your website! Feature a more festive look and offer special holiday promotions to attract customers to buy, buy, and buy some more. Understand what customers find important in online shopping during the holiday season. Is your website secure? How much is shipping? Is your shipping information easy to find? Will it ship on time? Are there discounts for buying multiple items? How about refunds and exchanges? Are there guarantees or warranties you can offer to the customer? Make this information prominent on your website so that potential customers don’t leave disappointed because they could not find such crucial information.

Utilize Search Engines
Target terms that are focused on the holidays. Do you sell gifts or seasonal products? Who is your target audience and who might they be buying gifts for? Utilize this information to go after keywords that are focused on your line of business, your products and services, and your customers. Target specific keywords since holiday shoppers often know specifically what they are looking for. This will result in high quality traffic and lower costs.

Explore Social Media
Review sites are a big deal during the holiday season. Prospective customers want to know if your company is reliable, provides good service, and sells products or services of high-quality at low prices. Do some research on review sites and encourage loyal customers to vouch for you.

Email Marketing
Stay focused on email marketing efforts during the holiday season. This is when many inactive customers come to life knowing that your company will be offering great deals. Offer not only special pricing but also offer tips on how to use the products or services. Be creative and find ways to engage the customer.

With that said, start ringing in the sales!
