National Pen hosted an Opening Ceremony at the company’s newly-established Contact Center on Monday October 29th 2018. The organization's new Jamaican premises is located in the Mangrove Way area of the Montego Bay Freezone and has been in operation since August 2018. National Pen Jamaica currently employs over 190 people with plans for future growth and expansion. Staff in Montego Bay work across a variety of sales and support functions serving National Pen’s North American market, and the organization estimates that its headcount at the new facility will significantly increase in 2019. A Cimpress brand, National Pen markets a variety of promotional products to small- and medium-sized business.
“National Pen is growing internationally at an exceptional rate, and this expansion will help us to provide our North American customers with the best standard of service and care. The process of opening our new center here in Montego Bay has been exceptional and I’d like to thank all of those who supported us including our parent company Cimpress, our sister company Vistaprint, our new employees, local suppliers and agencies, and the broader local community. The availability of highly-skilled and committed employees here in Jamaica made it the ideal location for our new facility. As the business grows. we will investigate the possibility of further expansion in this region,” said National Pen CEO/EVP Peter Kelly.
Senior executives from National Pen attended Monday’s ceremony where Peter Kelly gave a speech and officiated the ribbon cutting ceremony. Honored guests and dignitaries from the local community also attended the event including Councillor Homer Davis, BPIAJ President Ms. Gloria Henry, and Hon Consul Brian J. Denning O.D Consul of Ireland to Jamaica.

Through this expansion, National Pen drives to improve customer experience by elevating the standard of service and care provided to the company’s North American customers.
