1. Share an Easter Meal with Family

Whether you choose Zoom, FaceTime, HouseParty, or Skype, there are plenty of apps that allow you to chat with family. Set it up on your phone or laptop at the table and chat over brunch or dinner like you would on any other Easter Sunday. If it’s tradition to cook together, set up your device in the kitchen and host your own mini cooking show.

4. Take the Easter Egg Hunt Indoors

Not all of us have yards, so now is the time to get creative with your Easter egg hunt. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Blindfolded Hunt: this is a silly way to work on your communication as a family. Blindfold the egg hunter and have another family member talk them through how to get to the egg.
In-the-Dark Hunt: get the flashlights ready! This is one of those Easter activities for kids at home that they’ll remember for years to come. Turn off all the lights and have the kids find their eggs in the dark (glow-in-the-dark plastic eggs make this even more fun!).
Clue Hunt: since many of us have a bit more time on our hands than usual, why not take the time to build up the excitement over a few days? Leave your kids a clue each day that will help them locate a special egg or their big Easter basket.
