Buying American or Buying USA?

It is preferred to use the term “made in USA” vs “made in America” when referring to where a product is made. This is because America may refer to North America, including countries other than the USA like Canada or Mexico. It is better to specify “USA-made products” rather than using the term “American-made products” when you mean USA specifically and not North America in general.
