What Are Mirrored Imprints and Why Do We Love Them?

Mirror, mirror, on the pen? Yep! These might be the finest imprints of them all. There’s no quicker way to add an elegant touch to your branding than with this stylish imprint method. But what exactly is a mirrored imprint? Much like it sounds, this imprint method shows off your branding with mirrored lettering.

Let’s face it, shiny things catch our eye. That’s why we love diamonds, glitter, gold coins and perfectly polished cars. As basic an idea as it may seem, the way these imprints shine is what makes them so attractive to customers. And since you want customers looking at your branding, this imprint method works both in terms of aesthetics and functionality.

How We Make Mirrored Imprints

To create mirrored imprints, we use a laser to cut away the soft touch rubber finish on the barrel and reveal the layer of mirror underneath. It’s the same process we use to create all of our laser-imprinted pens. The only difference is that traditional laser engraving exposes the aluminium or stainless steel beneath, while this exposes a mirror.

Only One Type of Mirror? Think Again!

You’re familiar with the type of mirror you use to get ready in the morning, but when it comes to mirror imprints, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. You can get mirror imprints in blue, red, purple and plenty of other tints. Here are a few of our favourite ways to use mirrored imprints in your branding:

Rose Gold Mirror

For rosy promotions, go with rose gold mirrored imprints, like on the Metal Alpha Soft Touch Pen with Stylus & Rose Gold Mirrored Imprint

Gold Mirror

Strike gold with the Metal Soft Touch Paragon Pen with Gold Mirrored Imprint. This pen has gold accents at the nose cone and clip, which calls even more attention to the gold mirrored logo.

Silver Mirror

The ultimate classic! Silver mirrored imprints like on this  Metal Soft Touch Arlington Stylus Pen with Mirrored Imprint give the sleek, modern design some eye-catching shine.

Mirrored Imprint vs. Full Colour Inkjet

Of course, there’s more than one imprint process to choose from. One of our other high-quality imprint types is the Full Colour Inkjet. That’s a process which uses a special type of printer to create perfect colour shading on your logo. Weighing one imprint process against the other means taking a few factors into consideration. Let’s walk through the best pros each has to offer.

Benefits of Mirrored Imprints

  • No Logo? No Worries – For brands who don’t have a logo, this imprint is a great way to make a noticeable statement with nothing more than your company name.
  • Dazzle Them – A little flash goes a long way to impressing potential clients.
  • Modern Style – Show clients that your brand is up to date with current trends.

Benefits of Full Colour Inkjet Imprints

  • Show Your Logo the Way It’s Meant to Look – You’ve put a lot of work into crafting the right logo for your brand. Full Colour Inkjet lets you display that logo on items without compromising on its vibrancy.
  • Eye-Catching Colours – Grab a client’s attention with radiant colours they can’t miss.
  • Send a Fun Message – A splash of colour in your branding shows that your company has a fun, innovative and light-hearted side.

So there’s not only plenty of options for which kind of imprint process you choose, but which type of mirrored imprint you go with as well. Are you ready to get customers seeing themselves as a part of your brand? Then these reflective imprints will be the perfect match.
